West Wichita is the city’s west and southwest side along Kellogg (US-54): ZIP codes 67209, 67215, 67227 and 67235. It runs from the neighborhoods near Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport out past 135th Street West, and its newer subdivisions push toward Goddard.
The homes
Established ranch and split-level homes sit closer in. Farther west, newer subdivisions add two-story homes and patio homes, some with zero-entry designs. Auburn Hills, out on 135th Street West, is one of the larger established subdivisions, with a golf course of the same name. Getting around
Kellogg runs east and west through the middle of the area, so downtown is about 15 to 20 minutes away outside rush hour. The airport and Textron Aviation’s West Campus are on the east end, Ascension Via Christi St. Teresa hospital is on the far west side, and Goddard’s shops on Kellogg are a short drive farther west.
